How to use the Wordle Solver
- Enter your guess. Paste or type a 5-letter word into any empty row.
- Mark each letter's color. Click the small dots under each tile to set gray (not in word), yellow (wrong position), or green (correct position) to match the Wordle board.
- Review the candidates. The Remaining Candidates list updates automatically with every word that still fits your clues.
- Add another row with the + Row button and repeat until only one candidate remains.

Does it work for today's Wordle?
Yes. The solver uses the Dracos Wordle list, which mirrors the official Wordle answer set, so it works for the daily puzzle.
Does the Wordle Solver send my guesses to a server?
No. All filtering happens in your browser. Your guesses never leave your device.
What do the gray, yellow, and green colors mean?
Gray means the letter is not in the answer. Yellow means the letter is in the answer but in a different position. Green means the letter is in the correct position. These match the official Wordle color codes.
Can I solve the Wordle in one guess?
Sometimes. With a strong opener like CRANE or SLATE you can occasionally narrow the list to a single candidate after two guesses. The solver shows the live candidate count after every guess so you can see when only one answer remains.
