Guide & FAQ

How to make a Minecraft avatar
  1. Enter a username. Type any Minecraft username and press Render. The tool looks up the account and fetches its current skin.
  2. Pick a style. Mojavatar is the classic big-head developer look; you can also switch to Isometric, Head or full-body poses.
  3. Style the background. Choose a colour, gradient or transparency, and a square, rounded or circular shape.
  4. Download. Zoom and reposition if needed, choose 256, 512 or 1024 px, then download the PNG or copy it to your clipboard.
What is the Mojavatar style?

Mojavatar is the render with a large head and a small body that Mojang staff and many Minecraft creators use for their profile pictures. It is the default here because it makes a clean, recognisable PFP, but you can switch styles at any time.

Can I use any Minecraft username?

Yes. Enter any valid Minecraft Java Edition username. The account is resolved to its current skin and rendered live. If no account matches the name, you will see an error instead of a placeholder.

Can I get a transparent background?

Yes. Pick the checkerboard (transparent) swatch and the exported PNG keeps its transparency, so you can drop the avatar onto any design, banner or profile.

Is it free and private?

Yes. The tool is completely free with no signup or ads. The render is generated from the public skin and composited in your browser; nothing you make is stored on a server.
